CIMPLICITY v7.5-000008
Configuration Object Model #170232 - Case 1-531264381
Issue
There was no way to create a duplicate of a CIMPLICITY class in the CIMPLICITY Configuration Object Model. When an ID was changed, it renamed the class instead of duplicating it.
Enhancement
CimClassList now supports a new method, Copy, to create a duplicate of a class.
Purpose
Makes a copy(Object of CimClassInstance) from the already existing class Object passed as argument.
Argument Syntax
Set CimClassInstance = Object.Copy (classDisp, "new_StringClassID")
Parameters
classDisp As CimClassInstance - CimObjectInstance from which a copy is to be made.
new_StringClassID As String - A string representing the new Class ID on which a copy to be made.
Description
CimClassList.Copy returns a CimClassInstance by name. Use this method to obtain a copy of CimClassInstance object for creating a new class.
Note: Setting the CimClassInstance.ID property continues to rename the class.
Historical Alarm Viewer #168843 - Case 1-479361574
Alarm messages were cut off when they displayed in the Historical Alarm Viewer either through CimView or WebView.
Users can now specify the number of lines that should be displayed during runtime for the Alarm message. This specification applies to both CimView and WebView.
Open the CIMPLICITY Historical Alarm Viewer Properties dialog box.
Select the Row Styles tab.
Enter the number of rows that should display in the new Row Height field.
Valid values are 1-10 (lines).
Default is 1.
Result: The Alarm Message column in CimView or WebView will use up to the specified number of lines to display the alarm message.
CimView #172448 - Case 1-632456384, Case 1-562690331
The following would display in CimView even when it was not checked on the View menu.
Toolbar
Status bar
Now the CimView toolbar or the status bar will display only if its listing is checked on the View menu.
Attributes #172083 - Class 1-609213791
When the $DESCRIPTION attribute was configured as read-only it did not display for its class object. Attempts to read the attribute by script returned an empty value.
The $DESCRIPTION attribute is now usable as a read-only attribute for a class object.
Database Logger #172587 - Case 1-647715421
When timestamp filtering was ON, even if rounding was selected ( e.g. to 1 second) trailing milliseconds would be logged (e.g. 017ms).
If rounding is selected for time stamping, the timestamp will read 000ms.
OPC Client #169950 - Case 1-519396461
The quality of a CIMPLICITY point was only set to Bad Quality if the error was due to an unknown item ID, bad data type or invalid item ID.
When there is an error on an item update, the quality of the corresponding CIMPLICITY point is now set to Bad Quality regardless of the specific error.
Enumeration #171652 - Case 1-618055689
Enumerations previously only supported 16 bit values. As a result, if a point enumeration attempted to use a value greater than 32767, it would interpret the value incorrectly as a negative.
Enumerations now support 32 bit values.
Trend Slider #172521 - Case 1-611052781
When the slider passed 21:48 on a Trend chart using 24 hour time, the timestamp would begin to show a negative value of milliseconds. This issue occurred between timestamps in the range 21:47:50 through 23:59:59.
Trend charts using 24 hour time now display correct timestamps for the entire 24 hours.
